but in my work.

This sculpture captures the skeleton. which remains  as a reminder of the creation, 

that once was.

Primed, then painted with oils, acrylic oils, acrylics and metallics. Protected with UV gloss varnish.

Building the layers, creating this eye catching sculpture has kept me busy for hours.

Working direct on the wood from a blank canvas really has allowed me to capture the true spirit of this Brown Trout.

with friends.

With each catch, taking in all the details of this beautiful fish. Each one with its own identity.

My design is made of solid beech wood. Size: approx 39 inches in length, approx 12 inches width, approx 1.1/4 inches depth. 10lb in weight, supplied with a hanging eye.
